The Garfield Weston Foundation Challenge on the BigGive website

One of our consistent funders and supporters, The Garfield Weston Foundation, has chosen the Charles Darwin Trust as one of 30 charities to take part in the Garfield Weston Foundation Challenge on the BigGive website this December.

On 5th, 6th and 7th December, donations to the Trust online by credit or debit card via the BigGive website have a very good chance of being matched by the Garfield Weston Foundation. There is, however, limited match-funding each day so donations need to be in as soon as possible after 10am.

By letting the Trust know by emailing kgm@charlesdarwintrust.org, people who are mindful to make a donation on those days will help the Trust monitor progress towards the matching limit for donations to our charity of £40,000. If the Trust reached this total from donations, the Trust could succeed in raising £80,000 over these three days in December.

This donation link will be active before 5th December and, of course, donations are always welcome. However, waiting to make a donation between 5th and 7th December maximises the potential for match-funding. It will be clear to the donor when attenpting to donate whether the match-funding for the day has run out or not. If the match-funding has run out for the day, then the donor should try again the following day at 10am.
